Vocational Training

PALS is networking with local businesses to develop work-related activites for our consumers.  PALS has over  30 vocational sites throughout the greater Los Angeles Area.  Recently, the owner of Basileia Cafe Bakery located in  the city of El Monte, agreed to allow our consumers to volunteer at their cafe from Monday to Friday.  PALS has a  morning and afternoon group volunteering at this site.  The first group assists in opening up the cafe by cleaning the windows, stocking inventory, wiping down chairs and tables.  The second group will assist in taking orders, greeting , and serving th ecustomers at the cafe.  Thank you Basileia Cafe Bakery for opening the door to opportunities to our  consumers!  Our goal is to provide opportunities for disabled adults to participate in work training by developing  vocational sites.  This year's goal is to add 20 additional vocational sites
